At Visionary Respite and care, our goal is to support you in enjoying awesome activities with others in the community. Our fantastic support workers are dedicated to making your day joyful and satisfying, whether you prefer doing activities in a group or on your own. We'll plan exciting adventures for small groups to encourage social interaction and friendship. And if you want to do something solo, no worries! We'll tailor activities to suit your individual needs, helping you feel like a superstar and boosting your self-confidence. These activities can be done during your STA Respite or during a day program.

We offer a variety of activities such as:

  • Whale watching (May-Oct)

  • Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary

Animal, Art Therapy, and Fitness

Unlock your creativity and enhance your emotional and physical well-being through our diverse range of expressive arts therapies. We believe in the transformative power of self-expression and its ability to develop new coping strategies. Some of these activities we offer are:


  • Art & craft equipment and supplies in house

  • Access to private offsite gym with personal trainer if required

  • Swans that we feed daily from the jetty

  • Swimming with dolphins

  • Petting farm with a variety of animals

  • Nearby interactive art museum

During your stay with us, we can provide a range of skill development activities to assist you in achieving your goals and inspire independence. Our support workers are here to help you, providing personalised assistance that is customised to your specific needs.
